All things being equal, the home is literally at the core of the human experience. The vast majority of our waking hours are spent inside four walls. Accordingly, Hudson County New Jersey Roofers and Hudson County New Jersey Plumbers have a unique opportunity to craft quality of life in a way that promotes safety in our home environments. LTHOME has always prided itself on putting safety first. But, putting safety first isn’t just limited to ensuring that the goods and services we provide are of highest quality. What it means is that our product offerings promote (and reinforce) the safety mindset. It is an attitude that extends to our interpretion of safety as it relates to the places where we live and how we deliver quality goods and services. The bicycle helmet legislation is a piece of legislation that mandates that any person under the age of 17 is required to wear a helmet while on a bicycle. The modeling of which may allow for future expansion of similar laws as they relate to home environments. This particular law has much significance. It is a great piece of legislation and will definitely serve our culture in the medical industry. However, as lawyers and researchers know, once a particular law is on the books, other laws with similar themes can follow. Admittedly, there’s no guarantee that more sweeping bicycle safety laws are going to be enacted. However, if more laws governing bicycle safety eventually are promoted and passed, there is little doubt that these laws will influence style and planning in the design of our homes. Specifically, the trends of how we design elevators, entrances, balconies and bedrooms might be influenced by such a law. As it stands now, in some respects, the shape of Hudson County New Jersey Homes may be disconnected to the outside world (at least from a safety standpoint). When we think of the classic image-strickened mental picture of what an average Hudson County New Jersey home looks like we typically envision an apartment building with little to no outdoor embellishments, no terraces and little in the way of harmonizing indoor/outdoor function. Safety has never been a feature that we would even consider as being a general necessity when it comes to making Hudson County New Jersey building design decisions. Nonetheless, the presence of the bicycle helmet legislation might very well alter this ever so slightly. As such, moving into the future, Hudson County New Jersey Building Designers and Hudson County New Jersey Railing contractors will probably have to consider how various designs can be modified to promote greater safety and minimize injury. In particular, moving forward with future Hudson County home design concepts we will probably need to consider how we can design around the presence of bicycles. This might mean adding hooks to hold bicycles, newly developed servos that can transport bicycles to and from the building, or elevating the presence of bicycle tracks within any given multidwelling structure. This may also mean that as new residential buildings are constructed, we will need to ensure that they are able to withstand the weight of bicycles on balconies and terraces. There’s a virtual cornucopia of different safety measures that can be integrated into home design projects. There may also be some that we are not thinking of at all! So, the next time you are considering doing a home design project consider the ramifications of the bicycle helmet legislation and the possibility that more bicycle related safety and lifestyle laws will be enacted in the future.
